Repair Insert Unit (RIU)

Introduction

The IMB REPAIR INSERT UNIT (IU) are pre-assembled, lubricated wheel bearing components that can be mounted on the hub, they include two fully –functioning tapered roller bearings which can be connected to each other via a retention ring which ensures that two units work in tandem and without any glitches, this multitask installation requires less space and saves tremendous amount of labor and time

Advantages :

  • They are designed in such a way as to replacethe inner and outer wheel bearings all the while keeping the old impact
  • They reduce recurring bearing adjustments and enhance system performance meanwhile having firm control over the endplay of mounted components like disc brakes
  • They find utility in medium and heavy truck front wheel ends and trailer wheel ends without excessive customization.
